Foreign Currency Denominated Investments
Changes in the exchange rate between currencies may cause your investment/income to go down as well as up.

Front loaded Contracts
Most of the charges are taken in the early years of this investment.  This means that if you withdraw during this time you may get back less than you invested.

Higher Volatility Funds
This investment may be subject to sudden and large falls in value. You could get back nothing at all.

Investments that provide an income – the income is not fixed and can go up or down
The income is not fixed and can go up or down.

Investments with Contingent Liability
You could lose all the money you invested and you may have to pay more later.

Property Funds
This fund invests in property and land, this can be difficult to sell so you may not be able to sell/cash in this investment when you want to.

With Profit Policies
The value of the policy depends upon the profits made by the life office and how they decide to distribute that profit.
