Accident, Sickness & Unemployment

Accident Sickness and Unemployment is also referred to as Mortgage Payment Protection, it basically means your policy will provide you with an income should you lose your job or you are unable to work through an accident or sickness.  You pay a monthly premium and the policies usually (although some do differ) pay out a monthly amount to you.  

If you think that you would be unable to pay your mortgage and related costs if something happens to you, then it is definitely worth looking into this type of cover.

 Some of the policies also pay out lump sums if you become disabled or die during the policy term.  The amount you receive depends on the amount you have specified in your policy when you take it out.
