IFA Essex started as a sole trader business back in 2001, with the simple ethos of providing ALL clients with advice we would either give ourselves or members of our families with the same careful considered advice.

Since then we have gone on to submit over 1000 applications, and in 2004 stopped advertising as working for existing clients and client recommendations took up all of our time.
Richard Day has been qualified to advise on all aspects of financial services since 1997, but has specialised in mortgages, insurance and protection over the past 8 years.  I am very proud of the loyal and wonderful clients I have established over the past 8 years, many of whom I now regard as friends as well as clients. 

We have a broad client base with entertainers, musicians and sports people amongst our celebrity clients with incomes ranging from zero to millions.  It is this diversity which we are proud of and the ethos which started the company back in 2001 continues today with all clients being treated equally and given the same standard of advice and service.  Richard usually grades his clients by the standard of their tea!

When not working Richard can be found at home with his partner Kate and lovely twins Evelyn and Edward who were born after 7 years of trying in December 2008.  Although the twins keep him busy, he also hosts a midweek radio show for Basildon Hospital and is an active member of the Stanford-le-Hope & Corringham Rotary Club which raise money for local, national and international good causes.

To relax he quad bikes, go karts, water skis and takes his family away in their caravan.
